The Heat Is On! Mayweather vs Mosley

In the upcoming May 1st Pay-Per-View event Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Shane Mosley, the pressure on each fighter to perform is definitely high. Many boxing fans are ready and thrilled to watch the two fighter fight in the ring, many wanted to see Mayweather get beaten down by Mosley especially pacman fans, while others wanted him to win for a chance to fight Manny Pacquiao. and other just wanted to see Mayweather get beaten down because of his antagonist image.

As Pacquiao-Clottey may have done 700,000 buys, but about 695,000 of the buyers wanted a little more action thought it turn into a frustration because of the other fight (Joshua Clottey) won't even throw a punch. Since Mayweather is fighting the first real threat to his "0" in a long time, we can expect Mayweather-Mosley to do about a million Pay-Per-View Buys which officially makes it a "big event". Their bout is also complete with its own 24/7 promotional reality show.

It is also very important for the sport of boxing that they turn in a good fight so it will be still attracts more fans to watch and support the game. In the last two years or so, we have seen the rise of Mayweather and Pacquiao from being known only to the boxing faithful to crossover superstars and their fights automatically gathered the public's attention.

Mayweather-Mosley
should not give another dull exhibitions like what had Clottey did, showing up just for the money. If "Money" Floyd turns in another dull boxing exhibition, he'll face the same old criticism that he always has despite taking on a legitimate threat and Shane will simply look old and used up. But if Shane can find a way to get to Mayweather and force the "Pretty Boy" to throw some punches, there is a real chance both men's stock will rise.
